Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at KAWAWA RAMEN. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 3-4 people, including food and beverage servers, kitchen and food service helpers.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
