Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Part Time Dealer to join our team at Great Canadian Entertainment. As a Part Time Dealer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dealing services to our guests while maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal card games with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain the security of the table and its float
  • Control the table in the correct order of play and close bets at the appropriate time
  • Refer disputes, irregularities, or suspicious activities to the Manager
  • Verify chip refills and credits
  • Tidy your workstation and pit area
  • Communicate effectively with operational departments
  • Build strong working relationships with guests and team members
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations

Requirements

  • People-focused and committed to service excellence
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to succeed
  • High School Diploma; Post-Secondary hospitality or hotel education an asset
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Smart Serve Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required

Work Environment Considerations

  • Work within a 24/7 operation with flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards, and position
