Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Part Time Dealer to join our team at Great Canadian Entertainment. As a Part Time Dealer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dealing services to our customers while maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal card games and maintain the security of the table and its float.
  • Control the table in the correct order of play and close bets at the appropriate time.
  • Refer disputes, irregularities, or suspicious activities to the Manager.
  • Verify chip refills and credits, and tidy your workstation and pit area.
  • Communicate effectively with all operational departments and build strong working relationships with guests and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma; Post-Secondary hospitality or hotel education an asset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Smart Serve Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required.

Work Environment Considerations

  • Work within a 24/7 operation with flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards, and position.
