Family Physician Opportunity with Vancouver Coastal Health

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking qualified Family Physicians to deliver exceptional primary care to our Vancouver community. We provide wraparound primary care services within a supportive team-based care environment to clients who are living with complex clinical and psychosocial needs and require a higher intensity of services. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality primary care to patients in a variety of settings, including community health centres and clinics.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in primary care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
Requirements:
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- Current certification with the Canadian College of Family Physicians (CCFP).
- Experience working in a primary care setting, preferably in a community health centre or clinic.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
