About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Unilever's Rexdale facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright in a packaging environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as their components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Industrial Mechanic Millwright 433A trades license is required.
