Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pension and Benefits Lead to oversee employee leave requests, including those for disability, parental, and personal leaves, ensuring compliance with relevant laws. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of compliance regulations related to these plans, ensuring all pension-related activities meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accurate and timely execution of pensions, Defined Contribution (DC) and Defined Benefit (DB) plans, and leave-related activities
  • Comply with company policies and legislative requirements
  • Identify trends and suggest necessary updates and improvements to pension and benefits plans
  • Apply employee communication strategies to provide up-to-date content for benefits-related materials
  • Oversee employee leave requests, ensuring compliance with relevant laws

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pension and benefits administration
  • Strong knowledge of compliance regulations related to pension and benefits plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to adapt and thrive in a flexible and less structured environment

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $85,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with a generous matching contribution.

Location

This role is based in Mississauga, Ontario, and requires regular travel to various locations throughout the region.
