R&D Director

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Director to lead our research and development efforts, overseeing a team of ~20 with a focus on innovation, technical excellence, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor and manage a high-performing team to deliver product features, enhancements, and minimize defects.
- Modernize products, architecture, and infrastructure to reduce technical debt, cloud incidents, security risks, control costs, and improve performance.
- Optimize internal development, infrastructure, and release processes and tools.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience supporting a desktop product.
- 3+ years of experience managing a team.
- Technical knowledge: C#, VB, Microsoft.NET, SQL Server, Azure, Git, REST, SOAP, Windows Desktop Development.
- Experience with Azure cloud hosting, automation, DevOps, and configuration as code.
- Ability and willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally (up to 15%).
- Leader: Inspire and motivate others, and delegate authority effectively.
- Technically strong: Support the team with complex technical challenges.
- Assertive: Direct in expressing oneself and dealing with others.
- Open to new ideas: High degree of intellectual curiosity and willingness to experiment.

- Communicator: Effective communication and presentation skills to translate complex matters to stakeholders, non-technical staff, and customers.
