Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at MYEONGDONG GYOZA KALGUKSU. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet customer demand.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer preferences.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances to ensure their safety.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Train kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team environment.
