Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting diagnostic laboratory tests, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine bench work according to established methodologies and procedures.
  • Contribute to safe, quality care by performing tests, documenting procedures and results, and maintaining a clean and organized working area.
  • Report patient test results in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility standards.
  • Process specimens, test, and document procedures and results.

Requirements

  • Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) General Diploma from a recognized school of Medical Laboratory Technology.
  • Successful Completion of certification exams for general registration from CSMLS.
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO).
  • Experience in core lab including Hematology, Chemistry, and Transfusion Medicine, required.
