We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Wild Wing. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques, promoting a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient ordering and stock management.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Recruit and hire staff, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
- Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring exceptional customer service and experience.
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
