About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our Mental Health and Substance Use Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including therapy, counseling, and case management.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide education and support to clients and families, promoting self-determination and independence.
  • Contribute to the development of programs and services, ensuring they are evidence-based and meet the needs of our clients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance client care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
  • Two years of recent experience working with clients and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.
  • Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association.
  • Valid Class V British Columbia driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
