We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at 2641426 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring seamless coordination of activities with other work units or departments, and maintaining accurate records and logs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize operational logistics, including tracking and completing work orders, and monitoring the movement of supplies and materials between departments.
  • Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units, and schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders.
  • Follow-up on issues with work orders, and keep track of shipments.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, and proficiency in mapping and data visualization software, word processing software, electronic mail, spreadsheet, and inventory control software.
