Key Responsibilities
  • Mountain Driving Expertise: Operate a truck in mountainous terrain, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Teamwork: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, working collaboratively to achieve transportation goals.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication throughout the transportation process.
Requirements
  • Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Experience: Experience an asset, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Conditions: Willing to travel cross-border, overnight, and for extended periods, with a valid passport and a willingness to adapt to changing work conditions.
