Maintenance Operations Coordinator

Resolute Forest Products Inc. is a leading manufacturer of forest products. Our Thunder Bay location in Ontario, Canada is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to fill the position of Maintenance Planner, Thunder Bay Sawmill.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will join a team of maintenance specialists and report to the Maintenance Superintendent. Key responsibilities include providing maintenance planning to maintenance personnel and external contractors, ensuring safe and productive work practices, and minimizing downtime and costs.
In this role, you will collaborate with production and maintenance personnel to plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance and capital work. You will also utilize best practices in conjunction with our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for processing work orders, purchase requisitions, and weekly schedules.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering Technologist, or related field
- Trades certification or relevant industry experience
- Excellent leadership and technical skills, with ability to develop and maintain positive employee relations
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and CMMS
This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary of approximately $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include at least three weeks of vacation and three floating holidays, a defined-contribution pension plan, and relocation assistance to the community of Thunder Bay.
