About the Role

BDO Canada's Chatham office is seeking an Administrative Professional to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team. As an integral member of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional support to our professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Partners and professionals to maintain a seamless work environment.
  • Refine and format various documents to enhance their clarity and professionalism.
  • Ensure accurate billing records for our Partners and maintain up-to-date information.
  • Coordinate internal and external appointments, conferences, and meetings to facilitate effective communication.
  • Assist in the preparation and electronic filing of tax returns to support our clients' financial well-being.
  • Engage with clients to address their needs and provide exceptional service.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of administrative experience or equivalent education, with a preference for relevant diplomas or other certificates.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office computer programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment and handling confidential information.
  • Naturally curious, adaptable, and compassionate individual who enjoys taking initiatives and helping others.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
