Food Service Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Manager to join our team at Marble Slab Creamery & Poko Popcorn. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.
About the JobThis is a permanent full-time position that requires a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Quality Control: Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide guidance on how to improve performance.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, including weekly and monthly summaries of sales, inventory, and employee performance.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
