Job Title: Population Ecologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Population Ecologist to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan. As a key member of our environmental team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to conserve and manage Saskatchewan's natural resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct fieldwork to collect data on population dynamics and ecosystem health
  • Develop and implement conservation plans to protect and restore habitats
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address environmental issues
  • Provide expert advice on environmental policy and regulations
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in ecology, biology, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in population ecology or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $37.43 - $46.90 per hour
  • 37.33 hours of work per week, averaged over 4 weeks
  • SGEU 11 hourly grade
