About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Population Ecologist to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis to inform conservation and management decisions.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct field and laboratory research to study population dynamics and ecosystem processes
* Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and develop recommendations for conservation and management
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, Indigenous communities, and other partners
* Develop and implement conservation plans to protect and restore ecosystems

Requirements:

* Master's degree in ecology, biology, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in population ecology or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
