Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hairdressing Salon Supervisor to join our team at Straight 8 Barbers LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our salon, including coordinating activities with other departments, monitoring quality and production levels, and training staff in job duties and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out as needed.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operation.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
  • Quality Control: Monitor quality and production levels to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit progress and other reports as required.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Training: Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
