About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hairdressing Salon Supervisor to join our team at Straight 8 Barbers Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our salon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair work to ensure our equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure the efficient operation of computer equipment and machinery, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of quality and production levels, and implement measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit regular progress reports, and manage administrative tasks such as requisitioning materials and supplies.
  • Staff Development: Provide training and guidance to staff members on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Establish and manage work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Language and Communication: Ensure effective communication with staff and clients in English.
  • Work Hours and Terms: Work a standard 40-hour week, with a permanent contract.
