We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Thai Express. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the food service operations team and ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are delivered consistently.

The estimated salary for this role is between $45,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the skills and qualifications required for the position.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the food service operations team: You will supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure they have the necessary knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
  • Ensuring quality control standards: You will work to ensure that food and service meet the highest quality control standards, preparing budget and cost estimates, maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and submitting reports.
  • Hiring and managing staff: You will be responsible for hiring food service staff and supervising their performance, providing feedback, and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Working under pressure: You will work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in food service management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility and adaptability.
