Responsibilities:
  • Manage the cost control cycle, tracking budgets and schedules within our project management system.
  • Calculate initial budgets based on proposals and ensure accurate tracking of hours, expenses, costs, and budget updates.
  • Monitor changes and coordinate with the project team to ensure timely updates and effective communication.
  • Evaluate change requests and their impact on project objectives, communicating changes to stakeholders.
  • Ensure project progress monitoring with discipline managers, including cost and schedule controls.
  • Provide regular updates on project forecasts, including periodic assistance in estimating remaining project costs and necessary provisions and risks.
  • Record and resolve issues related to project budgets and schedules.
  • Prepare high-quality project status reports, executive summaries, and dashboards to provide timely updates on performance.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Administration, Finance, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Bilingualism is an asset, but proficiency in English with excellent communication skills is required.
  • Strong personal IT skills and relevant software skills specific to project controls.
