**Job Summary**

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Field Power Foods Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

**Responsibilities**

* Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
* Handle and store cleaning products in a safe and efficient manner
* Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
* Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
* Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
* Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit

**Requirements**

* No degree, certificate, or diploma required
* Experience an asset
* Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects

**Work Environment**

* Permanent position
* 35 to 40 hours per week
* English language required
