Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage both IT and OT architectures, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across domains
  • Develop optimized infrastructure designs based on a rigorous understanding of benefits and impact on Business or IT
  • Implement 'Security by Design' principles, incorporating security controls and measures at the design phase to mitigate potential risks and threats
  • Evaluate entire projects from a technical standpoint, guaranteeing that methods and technologies used are practical and correct and fit for purpose

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline
  • 10+ years of total experience in IT with relevant technologies
  • 5+ years of experience in the analysis and understanding of Infrastructure related to Data Center, hardware, and systems
  • 7+ years of experience in deploying and managing virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS & SaaS), automation, orchestration, cost frameworks, trends, and industry-leading private/public/hybrid cloud vendor offerings and interoperability
  • 5+ years of experience in high demand, low fault tolerance environments

Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills in English (French is a plus)
  • Strong applied knowledge of layered architectures, virtualized environments, security, monitoring, and high availability systems
  • Self-motivated with strong ability to learn business rules and comply with existing and new requirements
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Good knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices (e.g., ITIL)

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
