Senior Accounting Professional

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Professional to join our team at The Mason Group Inc. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for ensuring all accounting transactions are completed in accordance with company and IFRS guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide timely and accurate account and bank reconciliation of monthly general ledger accounts, providing analysis and recommendations as needed.
  2. Maintain accurate records of raw material receipts and inventory reconciliation on a daily and weekly basis.
  3. Oversee the Capital Assets sub-ledger, tracking and reporting on all capital asset projects for review by the Controller and Management.
  4. Reconcile all General Ledger accounts, providing information and recommendations on any action required.
  5. Ensure data accuracy in standard costing files.
  6. Prepare standard and ad-hoc management reports for the Controller and/or SC Management review.
  7. Process cash receipts and reconcile Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable sub-ledgers.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or University degree in Business or Accounting, with 5+ years of related accounting experience.
  • Equivalent levels of education and experience may also apply.
  • Accounting designation (CMA/CGA/CPA) is desirable.
  • Excellent oral communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organization skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • In-depth knowledge of ACCPAC accounting software.
Estimated Salary Range:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
