About the Role

Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to general psychiatric patients, including assessment, treatment, and consultation. You will also participate in family meetings, case conferences, and discharge planning, working closely with other physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide psychiatric services to adult patients, including assessment, treatment, and consultation
  2. Participate in family meetings, case conferences, and discharge planning
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
  4. Participate in the Abbotsford Regional Hospital psychiatry on-call rotation
  5. Contribute to the medical education program for University of British Columbia (UBC) undergraduate and postgraduate trainees
