Frazer Health is seeking experienced General Anesthesiologists to join their interdisciplinary team at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre. These vacancies have arisen due to increased surgical volumes and staffing changes. This is an excellent opportunity for medical professionals to contribute their skills and expertise to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The department of Anesthesiology at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre is a dynamic team of 15 Anesthesiologists who cover a range of surgical services including General Surgery, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, ENT, and Vascular. Anesthesiologists are expected to anesthetize pediatric patients aged 4 years and over for elective procedures and occasionally 2-4 year olds for emergencies. The team works in 7-8 operating rooms on weekdays and 1-2 out-of-OR positions each day for various tasks. The successful candidates will join a departmental on-call schedule and will have the opportunity to work closely with the department lead, Dr. Maurice Dunstan. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. The positions are available to commence in 2025. Qualifications/Credentials: CPSBC Eligible for Full License, CPSBC Provisional, FRCPC, FRCPC Eligible Locations (Physicians): Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre
