Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Transformation Specialist to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the transformation of HR processes through automation, focusing on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and process improvement initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

 

This is a challenging opportunity that offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with Operations, Technology, and Business teams to streamline and automate processes. As an Automation Transformation Specialist, you will design, develop, and implement automated solutions using Blue Prism, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust automation processes leveraging RPA tools, such as Blue Prism.

• Design and implement new or significant changes/enhancements to RPA processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

• Collaborate with operational excellence managers, business managers, and service partners to identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Support initiatives focused on streamlining processes, providing data and analytics to inform decision-making.

• Mentor junior staff and provide guidance and assistance to members of the RPA team.

• Conduct solution design walkthroughs and code reviews with the team and relevant stakeholders.

• Take ownership of specific changes to enhance RPA or lead assigned projects and initiatives.

• Work closely with development and QA teams to review requirements and implement automated solutions.

• Coordinate activities related to quality assurance, end-user acceptance testing, and post-implementation verification.

• Ensure bots deployed in production are running as expected by coordinating with Production Support teams.

• Promote innovative methods and best practices across the RPA team to improve overall efficiency.

 

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Blue Prism, SQL, and Python programming languages.

• 3+ years of experience working with Blue Prism, with a strong focus on automation and process improvement.

• 1-2 years of experience with Python programming and API integration with Blue Prism.

• Good knowledge of SQL server and database management.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or engineering.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
