About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Air Quality Professional to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As a key member of our environmental consulting group, you will be responsible for leading air quality projects and providing technical expertise to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage air quality projects for various industries, including oil and gas, aggregate extraction, power generation, and industrial/manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop and implement science-based approaches to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior and intermediate staff on project work, including monitoring, modeling, and regulatory liaison.
  • Oversee technical aspects of regulatory projects, including ECAs, EASRs, and EAs.
Business Development
  • Contribute to business development activities related to air quality services, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and client liaison.
  • Collaborate with client managers and business unit leads to identify and pursue air quality-related opportunities.
Learning and Development
  • Commit to ongoing learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Contribute to the career development of junior and intermediate staff, including technical direction, training, and mentoring.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in environmental, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineers Ontario designation.
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related fields, with a focus on air quality.
  • Demonstrated experience working with local regulators, including MECP.
Experience
  • Proven experience in air quality-related work, including:
  • Understanding of federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations pertaining to air quality.
  • Experience preparing emission summary and dispersion modeling reports (ESDMs) and other air impact assessments.
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills.
  • Excellent client relationship building and communication skills.
