Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in home care or personal support work.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate, Certificate of Conduct, and First Aid Certificate.
Work Environment

As a Personal Care Specialist with Eva Muller, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and handle heavy loads when necessary.
