Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Industrial Machine Tool Service Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Estimate costs and materials for drywall installation projects
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to install drywall sheets
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty environments, and in noisy conditions
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to work with precision
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including commercial and residential sites, and will be required to work at heights, in dusty environments, and in noisy conditions.
