Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Stan Canada. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets and finishing them to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even finish
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation
  • Estimate costs and materials for drywall installation projects
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to install drywall sheets
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
  • Ability to work at heights and in a dusty environment
  • Physically demanding work requiring standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and judgment skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist at Stan Canada, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a variety of locations, including commercial and residential sites. You will be required to work at heights, in dusty environments, and in a physically demanding role.
