About the Role: NearSource Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Developer to drive innovation and technological standards in our multinational Fortune 500 project in Canada.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for an experienced developer to architect, develop, and maintain a comprehensive framework for web analytics instrumentation that aligns with business goals and reporting requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will design, validate, and ensure accurate implementation of new data-capture strategies that meet the needs of cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • As a Senior Analytics Developer, you will lead the technical execution of analytics instrumentation through agile and traditional project management techniques, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • You will conduct regular triage and troubleshooting for analytics-related issues, providing guidance and insights to stakeholders and collaborators.
  • In this role, you will identify and pursue opportunities to expand web analytics data collection, focusing on key performance metrics and continuously assessing and optimizing the analytics framework to enhance its reliability, adaptability, scalability, and future-readiness.
  • Foster collaboration with engineering and technical teams company-wide, sharing best practices and exploring new integration possibilities.

About You: We are looking for someone with a strong background in JavaScript, HTML, and experience working with weblog databases and data warehousing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in JavaScript frameworks, preferably with experience in React, Angular, or component-based development approaches.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics and custom data capture systems (preferred but not required).
  • Practical experience with tag management solutions, especially Google Analytics, GTM, and DTM (mandatory).
  • In-depth understanding of web analytics data structures and related data.
  • Proven ability to influence and promote the adoption of analytics tools and solutions among technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially when collaborating with engineering and marketing teams.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. NearSource Technologies values diversity and is committed to equal opportunity.
