Job Title: Business Banking Account Manager

DUCA Financial Services Credit Union Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Business Banking Account Manager to join our team. As a Business Banking Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with small business owners, providing them with exceptional service and sound financial advice to meet their diverse credit, deposit, and cash management needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and structure business loans and lines of credit, making recommendations based on thorough and accurate credit interviewing and full needs assessment.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of Business Banking Members, submitting thorough credit applications for review and approval by the credit department.
  • Build and grow external centres of influence to optimize results, developing and managing a comprehensive business development plan.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Retail and Wealth partners to ensure a coordinated market approach to Business Banking within the region.
  • Provide advice on day-to-day banking, including deposit accounts, leveraging branch and partner teams.
  • Work with small business owners through business life-stages to enhance their ability to grow and profit.
  • Identify Wealth Management advice opportunities and refer to the appropriate DUCA partner/advisor.
  • Provide support and guidance to branch teams relating to meeting the basic needs of Business Banking Members and ensure holistic advice is being provided.
  • Maintain appropriate records and administration to track and support the management of a portfolio, business development activities, and work-in-progress.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in lending or credit role within financial services.
