The RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Lead Product Designer to join our team. As a senior design leader, you will be responsible for designing successful B2B SaaS products that meet the needs of our customers. This is a high-profile role that will have a significant impact on the direction of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the design leader within the Design team, collaborating with Product Managers and designers to improve their work and the team's overall performance.
- Conduct customer research to understand their needs, motivations, challenges, and environments, and use this information to design impactful products.
- Manage product designers and work closely with engineering squads to shape and mature early-stage analytics products.
- Translate customer insights into innovative ideas, design workflows and interactions, and prototype solutions to assess viability.
- Iterate based on feedback from the team, stakeholders, and design partners, and work closely with engineers as they build and ship products.
- Experience designing digital products and systems, with a proven track record of shipping impactful products.
- Experience collaborating with customers extensively when designing and validating solutions.
- Experience designing data visualizations, ideally for an analytics product.
- Leadership experience, including mentoring other designers and shaping design systems and component libraries.
- A well-structured portfolio that showcases your design process and experience with software products.
