Business Analyst, Nominations Specialist

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Nominations and Allocations team. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing frontline customer support, managing day-to-day and month-end customer transactions on the NGTL, Foothills, and Ventures pipeline systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process nominations, confirmations, and other daily and monthly scheduling tasks
  • Work with customers to resolve nomination errors
  • Confirm with interconnecting operators and resolve imbalances
  • Train customers in nominations
  • Respond to customer scheduling inquiries
  • Complete month-end allocation processes
  • Provide detailed monthly reports to government bodies and regulators
  • Work with I.T. partners to ensure reliable e-commerce tools and resolve systems problems
  • Manage the day-to-day operational relationship with customers

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of related industry or scheduling experience
  • Proficiency with analytical tools (spreadsheets) and presentation software
  • Experience with analyzing large datasets and identifying trends or patterns related to nominations and scheduling
  • Prior experience in the natural gas industry, particularly with nominations and scheduling processes
