We are seeking a skilled General Service Technician to join our team at Midas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance services, including routine vehicle maintenance, visual safety and courtesy inspections, and tire mounting and balancing.
Responsibilities- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including fluid exchanges and oil changes
- Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Test and replace batteries to ensure reliable starting and electrical system performance
- Change bulbs, belts, and hoses to maintain vehicle performance and prevent breakdowns
- Maintain and clean shop areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Entry-level technicians must have prior knowledge of automotive basics
- Knowledge of shop equipment and tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Valid driver's license
