About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Automotive Technician to join our team at Zanchin Automotive Group.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading automotive group, where you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair on customer and dealership vehicles.

As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing basic vehicle care and maintenance, including oil change, lubrication work, filter replacement, and tire rotation/replacement
  • Communicating with the Service Advisor and Shop Foreman to provide updates regarding the vehicle
  • Documenting all vehicle repair and maintenance performed, on the repair order
  • Road testing vehicles, as required

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background and proven experience performing vehicle maintenance, including:

  • 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Lube/Tire Apprentice Technician
  • Post Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • Strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
  • Ability to maintain professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • A desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
  • A proven commitment to quality of work
