Marketing Associate Manager

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans, programs, and budgets to meet company sales profit objectives and optimize market opportunities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and maintaining product-level information in internal systems.
  • Acting as a first-line resource to answer product questions for sales, customers, and internal staff.
  • Coordinating market research requirements, including distributor and customer surveys, and meeting with reps and customers to collect feedback.
  • Preparing product launch preparations, including business cases, instrument and implant lists, launch packages, and training schedules.
  • Assisting in the preparation of long-range, annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts for each product line, analyzing forecast variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Regularly attending surgeries with sales teams to gain insights related to customer experience with Zimmer Biomet products.
  • Supporting Medical Education and Industry Sponsored events by coordinating resources and attending events in a facilitation capacity.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a B.A. or B.S. in marketing, sales, engineering, or equivalent, with experience working with traditional marketing concepts, marketing strategies, product promotion, market analysis, and forecasting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also required. Product management experience is preferred. The candidate should be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with a clear and concise manner, and have strong analytical and interpersonal skills. General knowledge of the medical device business, including the science, products, research, and commercialization process, is also desirable.
