Lafarge Canada is seeking a skilled Traffic Control Personnel to join our team in Prince George, BC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe movement of traffic and pedestrians on our construction sites.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain traffic control plans to ensure safe working conditions and minimize disruptions to traffic flow.
- Set up and tear down traffic controls, including barricades and signage, to direct traffic and pedestrians.
- Monitor and enforce traffic safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and mitigate potential safety risks on site.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of traffic safety protocols and procedures to ensure effective implementation.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Knowledge of traffic safety principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
