Retail Store Manager

At Bob's Liquor Beer & Wine Store, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store, including managing sales floor activities, supervising staff, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Hire, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of our customers and drive sales growth.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure we have the right products on the shelves.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including cash handling and payroll administration.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to help them improve their performance.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Our store is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail. You will be required to stand for long periods, bend, and crouch to stock shelves and merchandise.

- Organized and able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Reliable and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Initiative and ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.
The primary language of work is English.
Work Schedule:40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
