Your Role

As the Senior Manager, Finance, you will play a critical role in the management of multiple infrastructure assets, including day-to-day financial management and ensuring compliance with all project documents. You will develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and other key stakeholders. You will support the interests of shareholders in the project companies and be accountable for timely and effective financial reporting, financial strategy, board reports, and compliance obligations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring client expectations are managed in line with contract provisions.
  • Producing periodic and ad-hoc financial reports for project company boards, clients, and authorities.
  • Ensuring compliance with covenants, ratios, and other contractual documentation.
  • Overseeing project financial records in partnership with the accounting manager.
  • Timely and effective period-end reporting in partnership with the accounting manager.
  • Secretarial obligations as required.
  • Ensuring timely tax return preparation and submissions.
  • Preparing board reports and attending/presenting board of director meetings.
  • Updating financial models and analyzing/proposing investor distribution amounts.
  • Supporting the VP Asset Management as required.
  • Active participation in the finance function, team, and systems development.
  • Undertaking other duties as determined.

Your Skills and Experience

  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • University degree or equivalent in accounting/finance or a related discipline.
  • CPA Canada is a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
  • Strong client focus.

Position Details

  • Permanent Full-Time.
  • Location: Toronto (hybrid/remote, some travel to project/client sites).
