Financial Records Specialist

Job Description: As a key member of the DRIVEX GROUP LTD. team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts and ledgers. This involves using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain financial records and accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Post journal entries and prepare other financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Permanent employment opportunity with 35 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
