Job Summary

As a Financial Record Specialist at TORONTO PRECAST INC, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Your tasks will include calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and reconciling accounts. You will also be responsible for maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, posting journal entries, and preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Asset Management: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, ensuring accurate asset valuations and financial reporting.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Reporting: Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of work.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
