Appointment Details
The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching and contributing to the academic community. Types of Positions and Terminology
a full workload sessional appointment, normally for thirty (30) to thirty-two (32) total semester hours over two (2) successive semesters; (b) a full workload half sessional appointment, normally for fifteen (15) to sixteen (16) semester hours in any one (1) semester; (c) a reduced workload sessional appointment, for at least nine (9) but less than fifteen (15) semester hours in each of two (2) successive semesters; (d) a reduced workload half sessional appointment, for at least nine (9) but less than fifteen (15) semester hours in any one (1) semester; 37 (e) a part time hourly appointment/two (2) semesters, for less than nine (9) semester hours in each of two (2) successive semesters; (f) a part time hourly appointment/one (1) semester, for less than nine (9) semester hours in any one (1) semester; (g) a multi-term appointment consisting of any appointment type listed in 1. (a) to (f) above for more than one (1) academic year.
Vaccination Policy
Effective May 1, 2022, the University's Vaccination Policy has been suspended. However, due to the fluid and dynamic nature of the COVID-19 virus, should public health indicators change, the University reserves the right to reinstate the Vaccination Policy, as deemed necessary. Should this policy be reintroduced, all successful candidates will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and provide such proof.
