About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, National Sea Logistics Development, Asia Pacific to join our Sea Logistics Sales team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the overall strategy for Asia Pacific Trade, aligning with company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Asia Pacific Trade Strategy

Lead the development of Asia Pacific Trade and build upon the sales strategy nationally, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Drive Growth and Revenue

Drive the strategy of the trade to ensure achievement of growth targets, identifying opportunities through market knowledge and leveraging our network.

Collaborate with Sales Teams

Assist the sales teams in identifying and preparing solutions for client needs, supporting various teams with client presentations and preparing market updates to be shared both internally and externally.

Global Collaboration

Collaborate with overseas offices to drive growth, requiring travel requirements both international and domestic.

Requirements
  • Experience

Minimum 5 to 10 years in a sea logistics environment, with a strong foundation in sea freight sales, operations, pricing, carrier network, and trade lane knowledge.

Education

College or University diploma or degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a definite asset.

Skills

English communication skills both written and verbal, customer service skills dealing with customers at a high level, presentation and collaboration skills, and ability to lead in a team environment, dispute resolution skills.
