Job Title: Ironworker

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team at High Angle Ironworks & Welding Ltd.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent position that requires the ability to work at heights, in various locations, and in a fast-paced construction environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, as well as performing job-site calculations and inspecting structures and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Perform job-site calculations and inspections
  • Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints
  • Unload and position steel units for hoisting
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
  • Ironworker Trade Certification
  • Working at heights training
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working at heights
  • Knowledge of construction safety protocols
  • Ability to work in a team environment
