We are seeking a skilled Professional Insurance Assistant to join our dynamic Commercial Team in Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional client service and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
About the Role
As a key member of our Commercial division, you will be responsible for providing professional support to existing clients and stakeholders. You will work closely with your team, including a Client Service Manager and Client Executive(s), to deliver high-quality services and ensure seamless communication with clients.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. You will have a strong understanding of insurance principles and practices, and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Commercial Team, including preparing correspondence, maintaining policy files, and processing documentation.
- Assist with client onboarding, renewal, and claims processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Department to resolve accounting discrepancies and related issues.
- Respond to client inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Update information in our internal management system EPIC, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial insurance or a related field.
- Level 2 license (insurance designation, CIP or CAIB preferred) or working towards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Benefits and Compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of $52,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, employee assistance program, and retirement savings plan.
