About the Role
- Lead the culinary team in creating an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests, with a focus on quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Develop and implement seasonal and special menus that meet dietary needs and preferences, while maintaining budgetary constraints and culinary excellence.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing culinary team, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee kitchen sanitation, safety measures, and inventory management, maintaining the highest standards in food safety and quality.
- Collaborate with the Active Living Manager to create social and culinary events, enhancing the overall PARC experience.

Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Food Services Management and Red Seal certification.
- At least five years of experience in a hospitality leadership role or senior-living environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and mentoring skills.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Food Safe Level 1, and WHMIS certifications.
- Understanding and respect for the needs of seniors, their families, and other professional services engaged with our residents.
Conditions of Employment
- Fully vaccinated as approved by Health Canada.
- Criminal Record Check and TB test within the first month of employment.
