SAP Sales and Distribution Functional Lead

Software International is seeking an experienced SAP Sales and Distribution Functional Lead to join our team. As a key member of our consulting team, you will play a critical role in leading SAP implementation projects and managing ongoing support and optimization of the SAP SD and MM modules.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules to support business processes.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and design SAP solutions to address these needs.
- Provide subject matter expertise in SAP SD/MM modules, ensuring optimal use of system functionalities and integration with other SAP modules.
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, user training, and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, finance, and production, to ensure smooth SAP integration and system efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, recommending SAP enhancements and optimizing business processes through the effective use of the system.
- Lead, mentor, and train junior team members and end-users to ensure successful project outcomes and knowledge transfer.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP SD/MM-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Stay current with the latest SAP innovations, updates, and best practices, and advise the organization on their potential impact.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP SD and MM modules, including full-cycle implementations.
- Proven experience in gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications for SAP solutions.
- Expertise in SAP configuration, customization, and integration in Sales & Distribution and Materials Management.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior consultants or team members.
